sign stolen from Church of the Sweet Ride The 9th annual County Line Jamboree came and went. It was a beautiful day, and 70 plus people once again subjected themselves to the 40 miles of road

train tracks

and beach.

It feels more like 60. We're not sure how many people finished, but we did see some really tired folks dragging themselves to the Pajaro river. Which is sort of the point.

The beach is deceptively hard, by the time you reach the end of the 20 miles of track, you have this false sense that the beach will give you the break you so want, but it just gets harder! It all comes down the beach.
Jeff and Curtis finally found the perfect gear, and smoked nearly everyone.
Except for Smiling George Hope, who was the fastest man for the second year in a row!

Kathleen "Hard as Nails" Hannon was the fastest lady of the day.
